Not finding your books?

A quick tip about searching for books in Voluminous: the search box contains a small magnifying-glass icon, and if you click it, a menu pops up listing the types of search you can do. With this, you can choose to search only the titles of books, or their authors' names.

Let's say you're looking for the works of Edgar Allen Poe. If you just type "poe" into the search box, you'll find about 500 books of poems and poetry, as well as those by Poe. But if you change the search to "Authors", you'll find just what you wanted.

Don't forget to change it back afterwards! The search box remembers the type of search you ask for, so if you're searching for books by Charles Dickens, but only finding his biography — check that search menu!
